Adson Bipolar Forceps 1.0 mm tip, smooth jaw, 4-3/4" (12.0 cm) Adson Bipolar Forceps are designed to minimize heat and current while coagulating. For use during bipolar electrosurgical procedures, these forceps are designed with a 1.0 mm tip and a smooth jaw. Available in both insulated and insulated with irrigation. Just as with their standard counterparts, these forceps are the most common bipolar forcep model. Bipolar forceps are designed to control temperatures, minimize heat and current spread and reduce tissue sticking or charring while coagulating during bipolar electrosurgical procedures. They are available in a variety of styles that provide bipolar coagulating capabilities for a wide range of procedures: irrigating or non-irrigating (for flushing surgical site to improve visualization), with or without insulation (to eliminate conduction to surrounding tissues when performing deep procedures), straight or bayonet-shaped (to enhance visibility by keeping the surgeon's hand from the line of sight). 2x3 teeth, 4-3/4" (12.1 cm) Adson Tissue Forceps are handcrafted from surgical grade German stainless steel. The standard pattern is available with 2x3 teeth and is ideal for handling the various thicknesses of tissues. The serrated handle offers a comfortable and secure grip for the surgeon. They are comprised of premium, German stainless steel and come with a dull, satin finish to reduce glare. Jaws w/ atraumatic parallel serrations Allis Tissue Forceps contain jaws with atraumatic parallel serrations. These types of serrations are designed to eliminate damage caused to the tissue when trying to grasp or hold it during surgery. The adjustable ratchet ring-handle provides the forceps to be held in a locked position. This instrument is also presented with narrow or standard jaws with an option of 6" or 8" length.
