Jacobs Vulsellum Forceps
2×2 teeth, 6.0 mm wide, 8-1/4″ (21.0 cm) Â Jacobsen Evacuation Forceps are commonly used in the removal of placental tissue or other products of conception from the uterus to prevent infection. The hollow blades are slightly curved with coarse teeth on the jaws to firmly grasp the tissue. The concave tip prevents grasping of the fundus of the uterus. The forceps also feature enlarged ring handles allowing the obstetrician to use the instrument comfortably and with ease.
