Hibbs Osteotome
9-1/2″ (24.0 cm)Â Hibbs Osteotome is made for use in neurosurgical procedures that require scraping or chiseling through bone. This osteotome features a thick handle for ease in gripping and maneuverability. The handle narrows into a slim neck which widens out again into a chisel type blade. Additionally the blade features a slight curvature increasing its ability to be used to strip or scrape away layers of bone and tissue. This instrument is available in ten sizes ranging from 6.0 mm to 38.0 mm and in either a curved or straight profile allowing it to be useful in a variety of patient scenarios and surgeon preferences.
